Online Play a Friend Broken?

In online play a friend, I'm finding that there is no separation between receiver and defender and everything is slow. It results in tons of interceptions and drops. Game speed and game difficulty all play the exact same having no effect when you change them in any combination. Do you see this too?

The only solution I have is to play 2 person team play and it is then night and day. It works but EA should just get rid of Play a friend then.

I can't believe that more people don't see this? I guess most people are playing CCM or Ranked?
