Ever had a player disappear?

It happened last year too. I lost Kevin Williams after he signed an extension. Other owners in my CCM also lost players.

As the Giants in Madden 13, I had Brandon Banks disappear

Sometimes they retire due to an injury.

One example is Clowney. Buffalo drafted him 4th overall. 3 weeks into the regular season of his rookie year, he sustained a bad injury. He retired in the offseason.
That might be what's happening with some players who "disappear" or retire earlier than expected.

Sooooo i can find the right thread to post this and it wont let me create a thread and this might be the answer to this topic. So, while i was looking for undrafted free agents i went to the Punters. I went to organize by kick power and... There were several players that disappeared during my connected career. Centers, D lineman, wide outs. They all have 13, 21, 17 kick power and accuracy. And i dont think you can change them back either...

Weird I had Romo disappear in mine too. Maybe he retired?

I lost Joe Thomas about 7 years into a Browns franchise in Madden 13. I saw LT listed in my team needs while attempting to put together a trade before the draft, but dismissed it, since I "knew" Thomas was still good for at least another year or two as my starter. Then, after free agency was already over, I noticed that he was gone from my roster. I looked at every other team's roster, and he wasn't there, nor was he listed as a free agent. There were no stories in the news feed about him being injured, retiring, or signing with anybody else. He just vanished from the Maddenverse. I was just glad that I noticed before the draft started, so I could address the position there.

I remember seeing in another post about this that someone playing as the Saints had all three QB's vanish: Brees, McCown and Wallace.
