Why cant I change the LS on the depth chart?

so I finally get my rosters done start a franchise sim pre season, I go back and all my hard work in changing depth charts is all screwed up, and I go to LS and you can't even change the LS who you want it to be in only gives me options for some players!!! yet you can do this fine on the roster file itself.. come on what the hell is going on here!! how do I stop it from screwing my depth chart after a sim

and I am in owner mode with 32 team owner control

tried again turned auto fill for every team OFF and it screws my depth charts up before I even Start a pre season game,, oh EA strike again and screw up for the gamers. this is a joke, I can't even have the LS I want on the depth chart now for god sake

I dont have time to look at the game right now but what problem is it giving you? Is your long snapper (one of your starting linemen) getting injured or something? Whats the big deal?
