What features to you miss having.

Everyone has mentioned some great features I really enjoyed. Here are some that I didn't see mentioned that I also really enjoyed.

-John Madden being more featured in the game. Give us a random cameo "boom" or the Madden bus going across the country during mini camp drills.

-User profile stats

-NFL Films music and Sam Spence remixes

-Mid game saves

-The old kick meter and how the controller would vibrate/thump like a heartbeat on clutch/game winning field goals

-Training Camp drills as a stand alone mode and within franchise

-During the draft, the crowd would cheer, boo, or remain silent based on your pick

-Sometimes when it rained, there would be occasional sounds of thunder and also the rain/snow intensity would change throughout the game

-Helmets occasionally flying off

-"It's in the game" random opening video intros with players, coaches, and cheerleaders saying the motto

-Edit player names in franchise

-Fair play for ranked online games

-Classic teams - Dynasty Niners, 85 Bears, 70's Raiders and Steelers, teams from the 50's, 60's, all the past Super Bowl Winners, all decade teams, the EA Tiburon team, etc...

I'm sure there are more, but I'll probably get a headache coming up with them. As we all know, this game has a long way to go.

I didn't think this post would blow up lol. I wish these were included the most out of what you said, and actually forgot about them. I'm surprised they didn't include the helmets coming off considering that a player now has to come off the field when it happens. The controller vibration on filed goals was great too. That plus the icing kicker would make it difficult for those 50 yard game winners.. AS IT SHOULD BE!

And I was estaic when I saw the "training camp" menu before the demo was released. I was disappointed to see it was not like the past ones with 40 yard dash, passing threw rings, catching pass.....gawd dammit EA

In franchise mode in Madden 09 you could see your teams record for past seasons. If I remember right, there were plaques with the record on them hanging on the wall in the background

Why do they continue to take the small stuff out of the game? ExamplesA. One button to control ALL 32 teams
B. Can't switch player positions once franchise starts
C. The schedule is wrong in regards to what time of day, Monday Night Football and have played 7 games and haven't had any weather yet! (Sunny every game)
D. If you have a FB can't give him number higher than 49 (Charles of Cincy is #80)
