Is there a way to get high amount of tackles?

Do you have to play differently on defense? I get frustrated getting only 6 per game average on my players only to see guys like Patrick Willis get 15 tackles per game. It kind of boggles my mind.

Is there any way to achieve this?

Nah, the way Madden is, there just isn't enough punts to make realistic scores. The only way you'll get realistic tackles is with playing more minutes. The scoring percentage in Madden triples compared to real life. Your games will be like 57-38 all the time if you want realistic tackles.

Play 15 minute quarters and punt the ball on 3rd downs lol
