Online vs Offline CCM

Other than the obvious differences of availability on the Internet, playing with friends, etc. are there any advantages to playing online CCM this year? I know last year offline had a lot off issues, is it functioning as well on online this year?

Just found one issue. If you change your position scheme, for example RB from Balanced to Power, it does not change the players rating in the roster screen for offline. It does change instantly in online though.

I started an offline dynasty and instantly found the position scheme bug. I just wanted to change my RE to something more balanced than a speed rusher.

I don't know what other bugs there are but I won't be going online, only offline for me, so I'm real keen on seeing what the initial patch delivers.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I recently started an online cfm (solo) and have not since experienced a freezing issue. Mind you, during offline cfm, I had a lot.

If you play online, the bugs seemed to be patched earlier than offline on madden 13. I am playing madden 25 on this same premise. The only bad thing that happened to me last year was when I was disconnected from ea servers, the current game that I was playing did not count and had to play the game over (3rd qtr playing 15 min. halves). This happened only once. I am playing solo online now and I have had no issues.
Forgot, on online ccm, ea can patch their servers right away without having the patch reviewed by the console company.

The biggest draw for me in playing online CCM are the tuners. I don't believe Madden 13 was ever tuned for offline franchise.

I don't usually do online, but these are the reasons I'm doing that this year. Not to mention, playing onlone CFM means I don't have to deal with 1200 different save files glitch.
