I rarely get beat on it. It's not that hard to defend. Then again, having Illis and Bow as your ILBs help.

I'm a little hit and miss when I use it. I have two problems: either I get the read wrong and get whacked quickly or the buttons don't seem to react to my decision quick enough.

No they won't, learn to play. I've played ranked a bunch already and have people quitting every game because I'm getting 3-4 picks in the first half. Learn to pick plays, adjust and use the guys you're usering properly

Its this "defence is broken" thread and the "OMG *insert play* is DESTROYING ME! Its so cheese!" even though its usually a play that is just a normal play that they aren't playing properly against

All I know is this game is straight trash. Madden 05 is better. I gave it away and would refuse like a mad man if my friend offered to give it back.

Translation: Madden 05 was more basic and didn't have all the planning and knowledge needed that the newer games have. I'm better on 05 so I'll just play that instead

Man some ignorant responses... I understand gap control and am playing realistic defensive fronts against it. I know to commit to the Quarterback etc. and to scrape with a user to clean up the RB - problem is my user control is completely taken from me as my whole team commits inside (and no I didn't friggin run commit before that unnecessary reply comes). The one play that's really killing me is the QB Wrap plays as you can't commit to either the RB or the QB but your team essentially run commits up the A gap. Safeties play all out of wack and I seriously think that play is a complete glitch.
