Question about All-Pro/All-Madden difficulty levels
I noticed in the Sliders sub-forum that almost all of the sliders are meant to be played with at All-Madden difficulty, with a couple meant for All-Pro if playing against another human. I play at Pro, the default difficulty.
Now, I admit, I'm not the best football gamer, especially at QB. I make so many bad split-second decisions that lead to interceptions (or would, if the DBs could catch), or even seeing the wide-open guy but pressing the wrong button, which is why I'm grateful for the Coach Mode option (auto-throwing if no controller input). I usually play a running back on offense, until I improve enough to play a QB well.
Anyway, this topic is meant to ask if the AI still cheats on the higher difficulties like it did in years past.
If these were simple attribute buffs for when the team plays against me, that would be acceptable--that's what NBA 2K does (my preferred sports game series). Better AI is obviously the best thing to use, but that takes a lot longer to program for each level.
But I'm talking about stuff that screws you out of things that it really shouldn't.
I have the perfect video to use as an example...except I know that the video was made by a former OSer who got banned for spamming stuff (it was before I registered). But I can't find a better video to use that shows this in action, so I embed this video with much hesitation. Please forgive me--I don't have a better example.
Plus, I admit this video is of Madden 10--four games ago. But my question is, is this stuff still in the game?
The part you want starts around 1:30, but I recommend seeing the whole thing.
