What the franchise needs the most: a year OFF!!

Take some time and sort out your convoluted mess of a franchise!

I'm more and more convinced the dev cycle is now the problem. EA can't deliver. Yet they have to roll out a product every year due to the licensing deal. Greed got the best of them here.

The suits wrote a check the devs can't cash.

It still had cutscenes but the Pre play, and post play were more like real time presentation. Still had cutscenes though.

EA makes video games. Judging by that vid...2k makes experiences. How can EA even release their games after seeing that?

Because people are gonna buy it, lol. That's all EA cares about. The mindset they are stuck in is why go all out when we can spend half the money and effort and still make money.

I totally agree with you, EA/Tiburon wants to make videogames. they don't want you to ever forget you're playing a videogame, lol.

These guys along with SCEA (The Show) just get it! They understand what consumers want and expect when ushering in a new console.
