Roster Help

I got a question for u guys can u use the updated Madden rosters in a new franchise? and if so how? This is PS2 im talking about.

wow out of 8 people noone has tried using EA's updated rosters in a franchise for the PS2 come on now thats almost too hard to believe.Someone just answer my question please can u do ti or not?

Well thx for at least letting me know u can but how can u? I cant just load a roster file in my franchise. Not online or against my buddies but in a franchise with owner mode "ON"! I cant seem to figure out how to get EA's updated rosters to load into even a new franchise

This is how I did it on a PS2.

1. Download the EA Online Roster Update.
2. Exit out of online mode.
3. Go to "My Madden" and load the online roster you just downloaded.
4. Save it as a normal roster file, I called mine "NFL 2004"
5. Load that roster file.
6. Start your franchise.

It worked fine for me for a franchise that I ran for four years.
