I'm almost a full 5 seasons into my CFM and haven't really come close to blocking any kicks. Sometimes it looks like a get close on a FG but punts aren't even remotely close. Has anyone actually blocked a kick?

Nah, blocked kicks don't really happen. Heck, misses almost never happen in my CFM... not for me or the CPU teams when I play them.

The only way to get blocks or misses is to super sim FG's and XP's.

I blocked 1 punt when I had them at a 4th and 19 on the inch line, other than that nothing really has come close

I've blocked 2 extra points.One before 2nd patch, and the other before the third patch. Wish I knew how to be more consistent with it.

Who did you control? I have tried the edge guys, up the middle....I have gotten close but never have blocked a kick and I have played well over 50 games already.

Like above I only blocked one or two punts when they were backed up on their own goal line.

Should be more, I've watched the replay a few times and I've seen the ball glitch right through my defenders hands on at least two different occasions.

Not in many years. EA needs to put in the occasional bobbled snap and hold to make it more realistic

I think anyone who says they blocked one is making it up because as a experiment, Breaking Madden disabled offsides and put a defense player in front of the kicker. Even with a player right in front of the kicker, nothing unusual happened.
