great film, by the way does freedom of speech mean anything to you Superstar?

Freedom of speech doesn't necessarily carry the same weight on a message board.

I realize it's a quote, and I have no problem with it. Just pointing out the freedom of speech doesn't full apply when you're on a moderated, priveledged access forum. It's not our right to post here, it is a priveledge. Kind of like all that BS I heard during drivers training way back when. Driving is a privelege, not a right, blah blah blah.

No, not picky. Just felt like getting up on my soapbox for a minute while waiting for more MVP info to get posted. I really need to stay out of that forum...

Right, right...

To get back on track the spin move is frustrating. Not the HUMAN doing it but the CPU doing it. Like you said Triton, the CPU can do 3 or 4 spins during one run and this looks ridiculous. That's not so bad in it self but this causes waayy too many huge break aways. I've learned to react and take my angle accordingly but the CPU controlled players know nothing about it.

Why not just replace these spins with jukes? Then the CPU would juke often and spin sometimes just like in reality.

1). The spin move. The CPU can pull off 3 or 4 spin moves in a row...in the hole...with 4 defenders around the ball carrier.... but when the user tries it..he usually spins INTO a tackle or something else equally frustrating.

2). The playbooks. There are too many plays that are just useless to begin with (never work), or have routes that you can never complete passes to. The best example are the shallow crossing routes where your WR actually runs INTO the OL/DL. Bugs me to no end. Sure, it's easy to avoid those plays or to hot route out of them, but why even have them in the first place?

1). I disagree completely. The problem with the spin move is it isn't realistic. But it is easy to use, unlike you said. I use spin move on almost every play.

2). Completely agree.

Re: 2 things Madden never seems to get right

I'm sure if I used the spin move more I could learn to use it more effectively.

But watching the CPU running back go into the TEETH of my defense, and execute 3 or 4 spins in a row to get out of the way of all my defenders is just plain garbage no matter how you slice it.

For next year I'd love to see a shoulder charge button (not as strong as in ESPN), and for them to tone down the spin and juke moves. Those 2 are way over the top.
