Pre Existing Injury and IR Roster Space

We can all confirm that Pre-existing injuries never work no matter what right?

When I start a chise with Pre Exsiting off, my injured players are no longer injured.

I can't comment on the pre-existing injury bit but I can confirm that placing a player on IR immediately allowed me to sign another player from the free agency pool. No roster gyrations required.

Same for me... Whenever I put a guy on IR it free's up a roster spot just fine.

So is this only a problem if you use pre existing injuries? Because I always turn them off...

It doesnt have anything to do with pre existing I believe. It is pre-season vs regular season. Placing the player on IR during preseason does not free a roster spot. But if you do this then do your cuts to 53. Upon forwarding to week 1 then you will have the appropriate # of open roster spots.
