Controller issue

Curious to see if anyone else has encountered this:

I have had my PS3 for a little over a year, but I had one previously for 5 or so years. I have one controller from the new one and one from the old one.

Neither controller seems to charge very well at all. In fact one, doesn't hold a charge at all.

I am not using the usb cable that came with either PS3 (lost or misplaced), but i have been using a similar cable that came with a camera I think.

Now i did let my brother borrow both controllers and he mailed them back to me with very limited packaging support. They seem to be in working order, but could they have been damaged in transit?

It's just really frustrating having to sit so close to the tv

Re: Controller issue

One thing you could do is get a charge station. Every time I'm done playing I plop it on the charge base. It'll be fully charged next time you play and you won't need to keep the ps3 on to charge them or keep them plugged it.
