Whoa! Non-storyline Player Dev. switched!

I found a new bug/glitch over the weekend.

In every draft I ever had with the Garrett McCadden draft class he has

development. He's anon-story player and form what I have seen, they NEVER have their dev change when you load their class. Over the weekend I got him and his development was Normal.

Well, something weird happened. In the previous class, the WR Singleton (Canada), stayed in school and ended up in the McCadden class. Things got weird as soon as I loaded the McCadden class. ALL the pictures for the storyline players on the menu "news" screen were messed up. The white QB Beasley was represented by pics of a big black DL man wearing green. Wolverine Justice was depicted as a QB wearing #6, etc.

SO then in the draft Adam Schefter reads Trouble Greene's story when Treble is drafted and then reads the other stories at totally random times. I didn't think it was a big deal until I noticed the Development ratings of non-storyline players were wrong. McCadden being Normal really pissed me off as I traded a lot to get up to take him.

Apparently when Singleton was added to the class he messed something up. Anyone seen this happen to them?

Best guess is a bug with the way they programmed how they insert the player from the previous draft class into the database containing the current draft class. Must have misaligned how they programmed the DEV attributes for each player in the draft class.

I think I've read someone post about this before on here. There's a chance that the DEV rating thing fixes itself for the next draft class (as in, since there isn't another player being carried over into the NEXT draft class, your next-year's draft class should be fine for their DEV ratings). At least, I think that's what I remember reading.

There's a chance this could happen in any of the other classes too then, like the Jaquin Murphy class or that QB that decides to play baseball then comes back the next year. Or it could be a bug with just this specific draft class/player.

Sucks though. I'll make sure to check my players post-draft now that I know about this.

On perhaps a similar note, one draft, I had the bad version of Shady Monroe (the 6'8" WR). He was projected as like a 6th or 7th round pick in that one if I remember.

There was a DIFFERENT WR with the last name Monroe (this guy was like 6'1" or 6'2" if I remember) who was projected to go in the 1st Round. When I think it was the Cardinals drafted him, Adam Schefter started reading Shady Monroe's information like the team just drafted Shady Monroe. I panicked and checked the draft board, but Shady Monroe was still available. I selected Shady Monroe with my end-of-1st Round pick because I didn't know what was going on, but indeed, I got 6'8" Shady Monroe. The audio just played in the wrong place for the wrong player, but it didn't affect which one got drafted.

This is exactly what I think too.
