What's Best Madden For Franchise Sim Stats?

I agree. Either 06, 07 or 08 on regular xbox and ps2 I remember being pretty good. Especially if you set sliders and let the cpu play against itself. You could solve the sim stats issues for most versions of Madden with cpu vs cpu play though.

I love watching the CPU vs. CPU in Franchise Mode. I really hope it comes back in Madden NFL 15. I was able to do it in Madden NFL 25, by turning off injuries and picking third string QBs. You had to use two controllers and it was more work than it was worth, but that's how much I like it in franchise/CFM.

You select the 32 3rd string QBs from 32 different teams for player mode. Make sure auto-start is turned off. Make sure the QBs are rated low enough so one isn't boosted to 2nd string. Make sure to turn off injuries.

It's time consuming and the computer makes most of the decisions in trades, releases, signings, and ratings, but it's still fun doing if you're into that. You also have to have both controllers on because it assumes two players from each franchise is playing when in fact they are not. Skip pre-season as well.

No. Like I said, you can't make any changes. You just get to watch it unfold game-wise.
