How much did you pay for your copy of M15?

I ask because the MSRP is listed at $59.99 for the standalone copy and $69.99 for Ultimate Team Edition.

Problem is: when I go to my local retailers such as EB Games (Gamestop) and BestBuy, the standalone copy is marked up at $69.99 and $79.99 for the Ultimate Team Edition.

The standard price year-to-year on last gen is $59.99 - why the $10.00 increase and how is it justified?

The 360 version also markets features for Gen4 that are not available such as Kaep's Tats.

EA was sued back in the NFL2K5 era for the price fixing - how are they justified in fixing these prices and falsifying these features on the Gen3 retail boxes?

I bought the digital version for $59.99 through PSN. I'm sure XBL has it for the same.

I found out the price jump affects CDN residence nationwide which is where I reside.

Yup. I paid $69.99 too but traded in a bunch of older games at EB to get it for free basically. Due to the falling Canadian dollar being worth almost 10% less than the US dollar now they jacked up most of the game and system prices. Games are now $10 more and the PS4 went from $399 at launch to $449. The one good deal now is XBox One stayed at $399. They currently have a next gen sale going on at BB, FS and some places where you can pay $399 for the XBox One and pick a game for free (Madden, NHL, Destiny) through September 11th.

The price is up $10 on the XBLive Marketplace too for the digital copy.

The CDN dollars' depreciation is the cause? I have not been keeping up w our currency and exchange rates.

Is their any articles available that you can share re this subject on game prices going up?

$10 is a very specific jump and at about 8-10c off the US dollar it would start to make sense now.

The $50.00US I paid for the game via Ebay converted to $55CDN

Here was an article back in January talking about how the retailers were going to jump game prices $5 to $10.

I agree that these increases are more than 10% and tough to swallow but there isn't much we can do about it if we can't order online from the US.
