I buy Madden every year and I buy Sega's game every year. I never base a purchase on online play. It's a nice bonus, but give me franchise play anyday over online play.

Besides, in my little bit of experience with Madden online, I've always found it was a much easier game for the cheesers to exploit design flaws such as dropping your qb back 30 yards and throwing the bomb everytime like a lot of these idiots do.

I'll probably do like I've always done. I'll play franchise stuff with Madden and if I want to play online I'll use ESPN.

I buy Madden every year, but I usually end up selling it by January because I find myself playing nothing but online ESPN. This year I expect to finally hold on to Madden throughout the offseason.

now that's weird, I bought NCAA on xbox and PS2 last year being that it was online on the PS2 and the xbox is my console of choice. But to buy both versions when they're both oonline?

amen....id rather play by myself than deal with the cheaters...i get madden ever year also and online capabilities arent even an afterthought...
