9ers have lost key offensive players.

But most of their defense is intact, with players like Peterson and Parrish who should be in the 90s and Plummer and Carter who should at least be in the 80s, maybe mid to high 80s.

The last roster update for Madden 2004 gave their defense an 86.

On Offense, Garcia and Owens were both 90s players and Hearst was mid 80s. But Barlow was about on par with Hearst if not higher. Their line overall should be better and while TO is obviously a big hole to fill, ratings for Wilson and Lloyd should be higher (not much dropoff from Streets) while I am getting good production from Battle in 4 WR sets.

I don't think there should be a huge difference between Rattay and Garcia, whose numbers had been declining the last 2-3 years.

Last roster update in Madden 2004 gives the 49er offense an 88.

I know this is a rebuilding year but I'm not ready to concede they're only a 4-win team yet. May be the fan in me speaking but we'll see.

Man Niners worse Offense and Defense I can see the offense but not the D. Oh well it should change.

offense could be a little higher for vikes but other than that i'm pretty happy

the 49ers defense should be better than the bengals, cardinals, cheifs, jets, and saints at least.
