More Observations from Madden Videos

Just some things I think I noticed from OS's Madden videos.

1) Is the speed problem solved? Notice Gannon's pursuit on this one after the interception:

The linemen even seem to nearly catch up to him, as they realistically should.

2) Is the injury problem fixed? At the very start of this video, they report an injury:

Then at the very end, another injury happens on the field. Two injuries nearly back to back? Never would happen in 2004.

3) It looks like passing accuracy on the 15 yard drop back is still too high:

Though, it does look like Tomlinson has to stretch out to grab that one, and both he and Brees are pretty wide open.

Here's another of the 15 yard drop back...still seems problematic to me:

All good points, but still too early. If they fixed the injury issue I might weep!!

the biggest problems are with the pass accuracy of the QB after dropping back 15yrds. We can only hope it will be fixed this year, unfortunatly looking at the past tells us it wont be.

Don't even worry. Again this is a difficulty level thing. I can go fire up 2004 right now and complete that pass on Pro. But go try it on All-Madden or even All-Pro. Won't happen. You might get lucky once in a while, but you'll usually get incompletes or some picks.

yeah but it has more to do with the defense being able to defend it, it has to do wit the QB being able to throw that perfect a pass of his back foot 15yrds back.

It doesn't matter what defense your in or what difficulty it is, if the QB is still making that kind of throw.

Yeah dude, but people do this all the time online, and that's on All-Pro difficulty (at least on PC) and it works to perfection in 2004.

My guess is that unless this is looked at explicitly for '05 before its release, it's not going to be any better than what you see in that video -- and remember, Plummer is an average QB to boot.
