Favorite year of madden

What is everyone's favorite year of madden? I liked the year when you could do the expansion draft with the Texans. Not sure what year that is though.

One of my favorite years was probably Madden '89...yes '89 on my PC.

It had Madden busting out through a chalk board. It was my first PC football game and I loved it. You could edit rosters, make your own plays, etc...

Every player looked the same. No tackle, throwing, catching, or running animations. But I played that game non stop for over a year. In fact I still have the offensive and defensive playbooks that came with the game.

After having that as my first football game I can only laugh at the "kids" now-a-days that freak out over such "minor" imperfections as lack of armbands to choose from or if the Reebox logo will make it in the game.

Mine would have to be 92 on Sega because I liked the abulance comign out onto the field everytiem someone got injuried.

That one was great. I Think that may have been the first year you could put in your backup QB too.

Madden 1999. Your could sub anyone to play at all positions and as long as they stayed (like moving a safety to QB) their stats would count.

'89 when it was just called Madden Football. Played it on the ol Commodore Amiga. And 2001 when they re-did the engine for the PS2. When I first saw the graphics and heard the crowd I was like
