Home Field Advantage?

Is home field advantage in this game like NCAA? I'm sorry for not knowing this, I'm not fully caught up on all the news.

No, it isn't, and I doubt they will ever add a system similar to what NCAA implemented. EA is trying to seperate the titles and make them almost two totally different games, hence the reason why Playmaker controls weren't implemented into NCAA.

I personally think it's for the better.

Homefield advantage doesn't have the same affect in the NFL as it does in the NCAA so it would be rather useless.

I dont know about that--crowd noise affects teams--I remember pats couldnt hear snap counts at bills game--causing offsides, messed up plays, etc Thats where gameplans come in--runs and short passes to get crowd out of game.

Home Field Advantage does play a role in the NFL one good example is New England, but your right it doesnt play as big of a role, but it does play a big enough role for it to be included in Madden.

Re: Home Field Advantage?

yeah it does, but it's not as significant as in college. it'd probably be hard to have different effects (a stronger one for NCAA) without it being overboard in one game or unnoticed in the other.

what a stupid thing for EA to do though

a good idea in Madden can't be implemented in ncaa because they want the games to be different.

I think ncaa should have all the playmaker controls madden had. It'd make the game much more real.
