Had to go through a couple channels for the game to get to my doorstep, so it's a bit later than expected. However, if anybody has questions about the game that haven't been answered at Wishlist or somewhere else (other than rating questions), I'll start answering them tonight in the standard Q&A format that we've employed lately. I'll answer the questions in batches on the main Madden preview page here at OS.

Terry One question for you.

Does it play the same as NCAA as far as the passing game defense?

It's early but, which game are you liking more this year 2K5 or Madden? Why? What are the big differences?

How is the DB AI this year compared to Madden 04? Is it harder to complete the long pass this year?

Does the commentary seem as stale as that of NCAA? NCAA was novel a few versions back, but even with the added lines it's just TOO familiar. I was wondering if Madden was the same way.

Also, how is the D-Line play? Does getting through the line seem more like skill rather than chance?

2. IS there a bigger difference in good teams vs. bad teams this year?

3. Have you checked out the weekly radio show? Impressions?

4. What role do team captains have?

5. Have you seen that if you sign many free agents and trade them away that it becomes harder to sign future free agents?

6. Have you seen the draft? Your impressions? Is there a lot of trade activity during the draft?

Thanks alot man. How is the Hit stick? I've seen about 2 animations for it in all of the vids. Are there more animations in there, or mostly the "jump and knee your chest" animation?
