Downloaded Rosters

This will be the first time I have played Madden online. Will I be able to download the updated rosters and use them for my franchise and play vs computer?

I just got a network adaptor, so I need some help. How do you find the updated rosters, where are they? Do you have to have Madden 2005 to get the updated rosters? I know this probably sounds stupid, just not sure. I usually just wait for ps2rosters or geekrosters to get them done, but thought I would get them this way now and not have to wait.

It automatically downloads them when you log on with 2005.
