Coach Mode Thread

For the minority of us that use this mode:

ARRRRGGGGG. We get a full blown coach mode that works right and what do they do? They take out the !#$@%@#$%# broadcast cam/TV cam/Coach cam. But it is there if you let the CPU play against the CPU. Why is so hard for EA and Sega to include the Cam as selectable for the player?

Anyway, outside of that, I'm digging Madden this year.

For those that play this mode, what level are you using. I think All-Pro is the way to go using 12 minute quarters with accel clock on. Maybe more time. I'm also thinking that the running game needs some help and the passing game needs a notch taken out of it in this mode.

Any thoughts?

So they've added a real life Coach mode to the console Madden this year? If so, I'll be having a coach mode and user franchise going on.

lol, I agree. BUT, with the normal view it's easier to read the defense and make your pre-snap changes.

Yes it is. However a true coach mode would not allow you to make pre-snap changes. IMO a true coach mode would have the players you are coaching make these decisions using thier ratings etc, to say how smart the moves they make are.

Now that would be outstanding. Maybe on the Xbox2 and PS3.

I really would just like to know why EA and Sega can't put in a broadcast cam when it is already there. Heck, I have been involved with a company that makes computer racing simuations since 1991, so I know how all of this works.

It just seems like that would have been very easy to include for those of us that don't want to be stuck behind the ball. I would even settled for a sideline cam, but that is not even in there.

And even the custom cam will not let you rotate.

I just don't get it. :-<

I AGREE...........

This just shows how brain dead EA Sports is. That's one of the stupidest things they could have done. How hard could it have been to leave the Demo Camera Angle in this years game.

Yep, but it's better than the previous coach modes.
