Can older players mentor younger players?

I'm not sure but this could be a good feature...especially at the QB position. Right now in my franchise Warner is too busy complaining that i benched him (after a 5 INT game) for Eli to do much mentoring. I don't see much value in starting a veteran like Warner over Manning if Manning doesn't progress at all.

The point of "mentoring" would be have to accelerated progression. If it were included, which it doesn't seem to be, then I would hope that it would boost awareness progress even when the younger QB isn't playing often. Maybe next year?

I also don't think it would be relevant at every position. RB's don't really need to be mentored. Most can start from day 1 and be successful. QB's on the other hand usually can't and many benefit from sitting behind a veteran for a couple years. Think Chad Pennington...

in a way it is...instead it is morale that helps the young players and ultimatley your team...you get high morale from solid veterns mixed in with younger players
