Is anyone elses Madden PS2 Online game freezing....?

I have Madden 2005 CE for PS2. Of the four online games I've played since the game's release, 3 of them have ended in a "freeze" after a kickoff return when the game locks up after the playcalling screen starts to form.

It must cause a sync error that kills the game. Neither me nor my friend are charged with any disconnect. But in the problem has happened during the 2nd quarter of 2 games, and in the late fourth quarter of my game tonight.

That's 3 games out of 4 ...?

Anybody else having this problem? I can't determine if its my friend's PS2 or mine.

Nope, I haven't had any problems with my CE freezing. Some people have had problems, some haven't. I don't know what else to say.
