I can't figure this out. At first, I thought it was the primary receiver, but no, that's not it. Then I thought it identified single coverage, but no, that's not it either.

Am I missing something obvious?

thats your playmaker WR, you can change his route with the right analog stick, and on xbox white and black button, not sure about the buttons for ps2 though

it is the "playmaker" receiver...

you can move the right stick, and change that players route on the fly. like a hot route, but quicker.
