Anyone who says ESPN is realistic need to get Direct TV, order the Sunday Ticket and watch every single game cause apparently you have no clue what real football is.

ESPN
Defensive backs who run in front on their assignment and keep going.
Defensive backs who are in front of the WR and yet still some how the ball goes right by them.
Running backs who with the charge button on full can break a tackle, shove a lineman to the ground, or knock down a player.
QB's who can audible before they get to the line, and everyone hears him.
QB's who can all run faster than a linebacker
QB's who while scrambling can do a 360 faster than Jill from Resident Evil and throw to a Receiver
Fullbacks who blow wide open blocks
WR who blow wide open blocks
Randy Moss dropping more than 3 passes a game
Flat plays that don't work
QB spy that doesnt' work
Micheal Vick not having more than 3 running sets.
Editing Rookies so that all your drafts can have 100 rating
Players in the game having a 100 rating(no one should have that rating)
PreSeason where the CPU plays starters the whole game.

Man I could go on and on.

Madden has flaws too but their not as bad as ESPN. The running in Madden is not fun cause it's too realistic, you have to follow your blocks and make due. In ESPN I don't need no one but my shoulder charge.

Flat plays work fine for me.
Vick doesnt need more than that, I still get plenty of yardage with him.
And you are flat wrong about the audible thing as well.

Flat plays have always been bad in ESPN/2k games. You know how many lame duck throws the QB makes while throwing to a RB/FB on flats? Not to mentions sometimes when you do catch it you fall to the ground and magically pop up and try to run.

You must be a espn ***** because there is no way that you can even put madden in the same stage as espn.I rented Madden and you want to talk about realistic I guess dbs swatting balls left and right ,jumping 20 feet in the air plus the superman dbs .There is no way to beat a 50 rated player deep now this is super realistic.

ESPN is for easy people. Real Football fans/game players would love Madden.
