man i know you love your madden but damm those are horrible replies. how can you say the a.i is not flawed when he does not spike the ball with 12 seconds left and kick a field goal. last year the a.i in that sens made the correct call.

and i know its a video game, but it does not mean that i have to accept the fact that ea dropped a stinker on this. also the instand replay is all full of bugs. i get a first down when the cpu challenged the call and got it reversed when i clearly did not make the first down. but they lost a challenge and won the review but i still go the first down. how is that good a.i

the guy at ign was saying that all future football games will mimic the a.i in madden cuz its just so damm great. i mean ok there how much did ea pay you to say that.

take it back and go outside and play tackle football--perfect AI out there...and fresh air too.

enjoy games for what they are, representations of the sport.

Why are you spending so much time with Madden if every single one of your posts are either:

1) How can you people like Madden??

2) ESPN is the best evuh!@#!

3) Look at this problem I found in Madden!

C'mon man... let it go. If you enjoy ESPN so much, go play it! I'm enjoying all three games right now, but when I see an abberation in one, I'm not here on the boards the next second posting about it!

I can post about the many stupid things I've seen in ESPN on the boards... but for what? It's a video game.

Until you get pads on and get rocked by a MLB while running a drag route across the field yourself, enjoy the games!

Hey Pared you should see me blast espn on their website for the flaws it has. i have no preference and i bash them both for what i feel is a flaw that should not be in the game. I know its just a game but this flaws should not be in a game that suppose to simulate football.

in espn boards i state that how can espn not allow for you to call out blocks like madden can and how come the control of espn db's is so wack and soo good in madden.

hopefully my rants will get to ea and they will try and solved the flaws that are in the game. i mean i am playing both game and i play with my giants in both game franchise style. but i have found many bugs in both that should not be there. i mean they were no there last year. so that means that we have to sacrafice this year to have stupid things put in on both games and take away from the good things that we are always expecting them to have.

sorry for my rants guys... but its just frustrating i tell you,

Wow, you really need find something to do with your life. Not everything is going to be a masterpiece. Instead of looking for things to rant and rave about, why not find things to be happy about. You can start by buying an Atari and purchasing one of the football games for it. Then proceed to play the game for two days. When the two days are up, return to ESPN or Madden, whichever you prefer, and be glad that you actually have what you have.

That's cool... but you're only venting about Madden here on OS, so it's easy for other "Madden fans" to get pissed. It's just as frustrating to them to read your posts as it is to you to find those "problems."

I agree with the previous post; you just have to enjoy WHAT you have. Do you realize how amazing the graphics are in ESPN? Do you realize how deep Madden's Franchise is? Aren't you happy you're not playing Madden 2004 or NFL 2k3 anymore?

All these games have evolved significantly in the past 2 years.... if you still have a copy, go back and play all the '03 versions of these games... I'm sure you won't be finding many complaints then.
