If this is truly the Last Madden, I think I've got an idea

Plus this idea with the Fox pregame would be a heck of a lot better than say CBS?

I seriously doubt that EA would go with any network's presentation (graphics/stat layovers/etc) in a new NFL game without Madden's name on it. Look at the other EA Sports titles. Do we play ABC NBA Basketball or Fox Sports World FIFA Soccer? No, we do not. The presentation/stat overlays are all from this mythical television network called EA Sports. That's the way they package it and I'd expect them to continue doing so.

I think the most likely scenario should Madden decide to not resign, is that they'll follow the NHL series and just call it NFL Football 2006. Who the play-by-play guys will be is anyone's guess. My guess would be Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, who will now be headlining the CBS booth.

I've heard the most likely replacement for Madden is Troy Aikman as the game sponsor/commentator and endorser. Reason being is that he is the highest rated young broadcaster, very popular and could endorse the game for many years to come.
