For those with the CE version, I have a question. Is it just me or are some of them almost impossibly difficult?

Now I've had my copy of Madden since I'd say about the day before it officially became availible. While I plowed through the first 8 Madden Moments fairly quicky, I had been stuck on moment #9 (97 Vikings vs. 97 Giants) for the better part of 2 months. It seemed like no matter what I did I couldn't win this one. Everything from convienient penalty calls, or lack there off (obvious pass interference), to what felt like outright blatant cheating. Now before some says that I just have sucky skills at the game, I'll go ahead and admit that I'm not the best Madden player (haven't really played since '97 on the Genesis). Still though, I ask, is it just me, or are some of them ridiculously difficult?

I completely forget these were even in the game, I've been so caught up in my franchise. Thanks for reminding me, think I'll try them out when I get home today. Sorry I couldn't answer your question, maybe I can tomorrow.

Hey Lucky,

I'll agree with you there - some of them are difficult. I'm on Moment #13 (haven't tried it yet) but I remember the Vikings-Giants scenario taking me 7 or 8 times before I completed it. There's one ahead of you further that's supposed to recreate the Music City Miracle. You have to score from your own 20 with 16 seconds left - I ran a playaction pass and through an 80-yard bomb to score a TD in one play. Go figure...

Like I said, its kinda screwy, as long as it took me to do the 97Vikings-97Giants Moment, I blew threw the next on in about 2 tries. I think the key is using up as much clock as you can when you have the ball. It was like Murphy's Law was in effect on that one, everytime I thought I had it beat something bad would happen like the CPU running back the kick return for a TD when I only left :05 seconds on the clock.

I totally forgot about these too....
so I started playing them tonight. I finished the first 2 but I have a question....
Did anyone notice th eplayer numbers being screwed up? When the CPU was on offense, all of the player numbers were out of wack..qb#50, linemen with numbers in the 30's, etc.
Did I miss something or is this somekind of bug/glitch that no one has mentioned yet?
