That stuff is always lame. If you get excited about mashing buttons to simulate jumping a rope, you may need some new hobbies.

I think they should add a feature that would make it harder to complete 50 yard passes into triple coverage in the 4th quarter.

Re: First Madden 2006 Info!

I could see them doing some form of "Off the Ball" where before the snap you can become any receiver you want and do certain moves with the analog stick to get open, like beating a bump and run doing a stop and go move, pushing off (which could result in offensive pass interference sometimes but not always), blocking for a running play, etc.

Randy Moss would be the cover athlete.

Let me rephrase your quote, "They don't redo the game engine ANY year". Madden feels like simple slider tweaks each and every year until a new game system comes out. Just tweak your Madden 05 sliders to what you feel will be the same game you're playing in 06.

Anyone feel that this new 06 training feature is just Knockout Kings same training feature. I called it first!! Don't be surprised.

I'm not expecting nothing different or big until the next round of consoles hit.

Here's an idea.. go out and actually jump some rope, and run some 40 yard dashes. Maybe people won't be so eager to have it in the game after all.
