Much better now......

I took away all options to use Block shed above 8 and it still may render some sacks but the QB's now have time to make reads for the CPU.

I may bump CPU WR catch slider up to 65 or 70 but other than that these should finally provide a solid and passing and running game for both CPU and Human

Ray Lewis just made 11 tackles for me with a low Pass and Run reaction. No user control.

I've not seen LBs ignore ball carriers right in front of them. I've certainly seen LBs make plays on my passes, especially the ones with high AWR, both for me and CPU.

Just like I just read where Block Shedding should be about 10 - but I just put it at 30...and got 2 sacks. Not a ton like it's "supposed" to create. CPU only got 1 on me and while I was hurried some on longer passes, wasn't running for my life each snap or anything, and Ravens don't even have the best pass blocking line, and was facing Steelers.

I don't use the whole set - but I do use a very low pass/run reaction. Usually 0, now trying 10 - don't see a big difference.

Yeah i see defenders making plays all the time with low reaction time because players still have their Awareness and Play Recognition ratings that factor into the game

It's no different from putting the CPU Broken Tackles at 0 they still have enough skills that can run regardless of that slider being at 0

So Pass Reaction and Run Reaction actually can also be used to take away CPU Physic ability to read every player perfectly

I don't see what's wrong with defenders blowing coverages isn' tthat apart of football just as much as defenders playing perfect coverage

To each of his own some people might prefer the CPU using realy high settings...I'M believer you can make them do the same things on lower settings and reduce the Super Man like aspects of gameplay.

I think this thread if you look at the stats posted from time to time does show to a certain extent the CPU and Human defenders can still make plays even with low reaction sliders. Score's usually stay under control aswell which is good considering the reaction times aren't high

I jus played 4 games straight and the gameplay and the outcomes were awesome.. I know people will still complain saying blah blah but it's jus matter of adjusting a specific slider to left or right according to their skill levels and preferences..

Amazing work done!!! I jus can't stop playing anymore.. Loving it!!

Jus signed up to say thanks for all the effort you put in to make madden 12 as real as possible.. Gotta go play now

I didn't mean to insinuate that defenders don't ever make plays. I was simply stating that, on occasion, I see some very odd things from defenders.

Blowing coverage is fine, if someone is out of position or gets beat on a play...I'll never complain about that. What I was saying is that when a defender is in position, I've seen them stand there as a ball is lobbed basically through their helmet and they don't move a muscle...just stand there like a statue. It doesn't happen a LOT, but it does happen.

played same settings except lowered hum wr catch to 54 and inceasd cpu pass reaction to 10 and pass rush to 100. weird result. pm?????

I've been reading all the different posts on sliders and using bits and pieces from each of the gurus to get a good set. I've finally decided to post stats form one of my games. I play as Bmore and had a very well played game vs JAX. Everything seemed realistic and flowed like the games we watch on sundays imo. I used the exact set listed on the first page with the exception of user run reaction. I set mine at 16. i felt i was stuffing MJD way too much in the backfield with it at 24. and of course this game was played in the rain.......

Let me know what you think. Other than not enough penalties being called, i liked what i saw.
