PS2 'Stat Accurate' Sliders

Pro / All Pro (I'm back to All Pro)

12 Minutes Quarters / Accelerated Clock (120 plays or so)

Subs 88 Out / 93 In (D rotates out on long drives, 2nd HB get touches)

Cone OFF for both the CPU and Human (use two controllers and two profiles to avoid 'Super DB AI'...they 'Read the QB's eyes' and it leads to too many INTs)

Hum / CPU

QB ACC 10/10 (11 if you play with the CPU's cone on)
PBK 3/3
CTH 10/10
RBA 10/11
RBK 2/5

DAWR 6/12
KND 4/5
INT 2/2
BBLK 4/4
TCK 0/0

KPWR 8/8
KACC 8/2
PL 9/10
PA 8/11
KO 8/8

All Penalties Maxed except Holding and Clipping at 9

You'll see a realisitic ammount of pancakes, passes defended on O and D

The ST sliders are skewed easier than they may need to be for players better w/ the new meter...can't get used to it...

I used pretty much the same sliders for '07 on All Pro and they play well this year on Pro too...

Enjoy...

EDIT: I posted my final version on the last page (post #188) for the '08 version, which I'm betting wll also work for '09, b/c the engine has been pretty much the same since '07...

Feedback Welcome

Looks similar to the set I was working on for all pro. Will try them as soon as possible and post results. Might not be till tomorrow that I get a full game in though.

I personally haven't noticed this and I play on All-Pro. Don't get me wrong though as I have thrown my fair share of INTs (12 through 8 games in franchise) but I feel that most of them were my fault because I rushed my pass due to pressure plus my QB is Favre and he is going to throw his fair share of INTs. LOL

The turning off the CPU's cone helps keep the Human AI from intercepting the CPU QB too often...which has been a well documented problem...

I don't like to pass w/ the cone....but that's more of a personal preference...never thought that EA implemeted this feature properly...

Looks like you pancake stats are in line...not sure about passes defended, both can result in unrealistic Pro Bowl nods over a season....

I control the RDT on D and then 'switch to closest defender' to finish the play, so your controller skill or gameplay choices may have an effect...

Hopefully, this is a good base set for you to work with...

Since you had 6 sacks and alot of QB pressure that obviously affected Vick, I'd probably bump up that CPU PBK slider...

Might also want to bump up the CPU RBK and drop yours 1...

Looks really close tho...

Oh, I misunderstood your post. I have noticed this on occasion. One game I intercepted Brooks Bollinger 7 times. That was the only game that felt like I had "Super Human DB AI" though as all the other games I have played I haven't recorded more than 2 INTs.
