Bears Roster Help/Opinions/Trade Advice

Ok, Here's my situation. I'm considering starting my Bears franchise soon, however since Rex Grossman is once again injured I need some help here. What do I do?(I've signed Jeff Blake)

1. Have a free for all in the presason and give the job to the best performer.

2. Battle between Hutchinson and Orton and look to trade Rex.

3. Give Hutchinson the job and Orton as #2. (again look to trade Rex)

4.Act as thoug Rex isn't hurt in real life and give him the #1 job no questions asked.



Those are the choices running through my head as of now. If I were to trade Rex I'd look to get a OLB for him to slo tin with Urlacher and Briggs.

I'm leaning towards trading him, but other opinions and ideas are welcomed as well as trading ideas for OLB's.

Give the starting job to Hutchinson but dont trade Rex because you will need him the upcomming year, unless you plan on drafting a QB in the draft.

Nah, I'm thinking Orton is my man for down the road, so rex would just be eating cap space all year on the bench.

Even though i think Rex will be a much better QB, if thats the case then trade Rex for some defensive help and then make Orton the starter and just let him make mistakes and learn, its better that way

No one will take rex for any decent fodder your best be it to try out orton he has more natural tools that you can build upon

Blake is pretty nice. Thats who I have been using. Ortons AWR rating is too low so he gets picked all the time and throws the ball all over the place.

i wouldnt factor in the real life injuries with the game (i like to get my own injuries during the season, not act like a player is injured when they are not in the game). Since his injury is fairly new, i just would go with rex as my #1...... just what i would do though

LB Boomer Grigsby

Chiefs Get:
QB Rex Grossman
2nd or 3rd round pick
