I've heard EA has always wanted to release Madden closer to week 1 of the NFL.

If this is true, I'll have more time to play NCAA 07.

i think they are wrong cuz Augest 30TH Is a Wensday and it would not be on Sheleves till Thursday Augest 31st cuz mostly all sports games are released on Tuesdays as well as other games so i hope for PS2 and PSP its earlier so i can play some football thanks

Actually, this isn't true. They give the release date as the WORST case scenario. You can usually pick games up the Monday or Tuesday of the week of their release date. And I second the notion of the poster above me....just more time for NCAA.
