I have been just controlling the D-Linemen and blitzing LB's at this point, any other position and I get burned.

Just wondering about anyone that controls the LB's or DB's, any tips?

Are there people out there that can actually cover a reciever with any success?

Im a big fan of the safety. I think no matter what team i am i tend to use a safety. doesnt matter if its the FS or SS i just pick who i like better between the two. i have been playing with the chargers lately though and being merriman is a lot of fun!

...Oh and i think this thread would work better as a poll question. just IMO.

I always used to play as the safety, I then switched to being the RE and now I have a system where I just kind of play any position.

I enjoy playing MLB or SS.

I can play with anyone except the CB.

Playing the LB, SS or FS, make sure you play your zone or man.

Me too. I just kind of play as whoever I fee like it, although I've enjoyed playing at the d-line this year. Got some nice sacks.

SS all the way!

I will switch to CB as soon as the QB passes it in the general direction...

I have 62 INTs in 14 games so far... unrealistic, but at least it helps to keep some QB Stats more realistic...

I change it around. If I have a player blitzing, then I will tend to control the player.
Sometimes I will control the FS if he's playing zone.

I hardly ever control a person in man-to-man coverage because I'm not good enough with the sticks yet.

I like to play with a defensive end or a lesser linebacker. The better linebackers tend to play better than I do when I use them so I stay away. They really get a good read on running plays. Low awareness guys with good skillsets, that's where it's at for me.
