With Farve being retired, will the curse still find its way to him? Of will this officially retire the curse too??

Actually, that is why Favre retired so the curse lives on. He probably had two more good years left in him until EA posted his mugshot on their game.

If Favre's came back and his streak was broken due to injury, there would be no dispute about whether or not it is a curse.
