How do they determine wheather should replicate players faces?

I notice some players on this game have generic faces. From playing all the maddens i just assumed they must be atleast a 90 or higher to get their exact counterpart face.

guys like brandon marshall who is beast WR rated 93 has a generic face while reggie brown an average WR rated 86 of the eagle has his exact modeled face.?

how do they determine who does and who doesn't get generic faces?

I would say time. Matter of how much they can get done while getting other things done.
