I just updated when i went online with madden any news cause i already got the first..

chances are that it was either:

a) a system update

b) the 360 just re-installing the first patch.

We've seen a few of these instances here on the boards. I'd be surprised if its the 2nd patch, but crazier things have happened.

If it is the 2nd patch Franchise freeze still happens....
