When do you start scouting guys for the draft?

U can start week 1 of the regular season

Can't remember the actual name of the menu, but from the main menu in Franchise enter the very top one. In there you then have Finances & Scouting menu. As already stated, it's not there until Week 1 of the Regular Season, it's not there in Pre-Season.

If it's like last year though, and i'm pretty sure some people have already confirmed that it is, scouting doesn't really work. You don't get any new info on a player you scout that you didn't already have at the beginning. You can try it and see if it works if you wish.

it's pointless. They need to have a combine as well.
