Re: tips for a newb?

Dont worry, the IQ means diddly squat unless you play on Myskill

Re: tips for a newb?

did you do the madden test...its not real accurate cause when you do the running drill its nothing like that in the game, best thing to do is redo your profile, skip the test and start playing games..your myskill will adjust according to how you do, then use myskill when u play

The IQ test is just a starting platform, you need to play regular games to get the IQ 'My Skill' to level out for your style

Re: tips for a newb?

In all honesty, practice. If you are truly new to Madden football then play on the easiest level and get to know the playbook you are using. I know it sounds cheesy but go about 10 or 20 games wiping teams out. Learn to run, learn to scramble, put people in motion, block, etc. Then crank it up and play the next level. Things will start speeding up, those missed tackles by the CPU will be solid hits. You will have to get rid of the ball quicker. take time to look at formations on both sides of the ball. Learn the shifts on both offense and defense. man I could go on forever, basically one word...PRACTICE
