Seriously, that half time report video has someone returning a pick to the house and the DB is holding it like its a loaf of bread... same with HBs, they have their arm away from their body and are palming the football during heavy traffic... I really hope those animations are gone before this thing ships, but I've seen them everywhere, and I can't imagine EA thinks that its ok.

Am I the only one noticing this?!

That does seem kind of odd and not the most realistic. Could that be tweaked before shipping or in a "patch" after?

I seriously doubt that it is something they can patch, I also don't think its something that they can even address in the M10 time frame, but I'm hopeful.

I just hate seeing it, it ruins my immersion in the game when a HB is taken down in a crowd of about 5 guys and he's holding the ball away from his body and it looks like its glued to his palm.

I actually like it when it is a DB carrying the ball or a WR in open space.

The problem is that they continue to carry it that way as they're about to get tackled. If this was real life those would all result in fumbles.
