Next Gen Graphics??

Madden's Graphics look pretty good, but this looks so much more realistic.. Look how proportional the body looks in this image. I mean take away the upper body gear and replace it with an Nfl jersey and that pic would look so realistic and lifelike. Look at the cleats, long socks, knee cap area, thighs, and upper body. Very nice..

There are aspects of that picture that look more realistic, but c'mon, no NFL player is that shiny. The socks, pants, uniform, none of that looks real. Don't get me wrong, it looks really kewl, but definitely not real.

After watching replay's in slow motion, Madden's graphics are far better than I ever believed. There's just something wrong with them when they go to full speed, they somehow lose frames and look stilted/jerky which affects their realism.

Madden looks fine in stills. The game just needs to animate better imo.

Val, I see your point on the uniform looking shiny and all, but thats not my main focus. It's the proportion of the body from head to toe, ya know? You can't tell me if you took away the shiny and smoothed out the graphics and changed the uniform into a real nfl uniform, that that image would look realistic?? Look at the whole body.. So much potential there..

If there's anything we all can agree on, is that Madden's graphics in still images have been on point. The textures, proportions etc are very high quality. I don't find ANYTHING realistic in that image dude. Sorry.....
