Question about passes defensed

Does anyone know if Madden '10 will record passes defensed for when a player breaks up a pass by hitting the receiver when the ball arrives? I know in last-gen Madden the only way you got credit for defending a pass was by swatting the ball, I'm not sure if this feature is already in next-gen Madden because I've never played Madden on next-gen. It's not a big deal, but I was just curious if since they're adding half sacks and all that they'd add this as well?

Interesting question... I think it would be sweet if they recorded passes defensed... the correct way... not JUST tipped passes...
