Did we ever find out if names/player info are randomized for custom draft classes?

Sorry, the posts are coming too fast and furious. I never heard if the customly created draft classes will have random names/heights/colleges/jersey numbers... etc.

I don't want to spoil my franchise if I accidentally find out that there is always major stud QB named "Phil Cummings" who is always rated low but had Brady-like potential.

Don't think they're random, if they're set up the way the Head Coach draft classes are. Just avoid threads discussing the draft classes and you'll be fine. There's 30 different draft classes in there anyway...so chances are slim you'll learn of a guy in your current draft.

unfortunately I don't think they are random. IIRC in the thread "Are CD members still under a non-disclosure agreement" Adembroski says they are NOT random. They may have changed it since CD though.


As crazy as this sounds- I was thinking of just changing all of the first round pick's names so if a draft class comes up in the future, I won't immediately recognize it since I probably forgot their original names (unless it's something obvious like Phil Cummings or Ian Frazier- then Ill set house rules and avoid drfating them)

All NCAA prospects are hand crafted like the ones upcoming in Madden.

And those highschoolers all have randomized names.

Not random at all. Everyone will be drafting the same names pretty much, just in random class order.

Draft-related threads will have to have *spoiler* tags

Oh well. I love the "hand crafted draft class" idea. If the names/sizes/colleges were random, the system would be perfect. Maybe next year.
