What is the real issue with RC'ing. Is it just the fact of the wr turning around to go up for the catch? the way the defenders play it? or just simply that( for the ones who believe it takes no skill ) you cant do it!!! or stop it!!!? me personally i dont have a problem with RC'ing. I do believe the defense reacts considerably wrong, however, i have no problem keeping my opponents RC tamed, I also think that it can be considered an "exploit" but you must understand it takes "skill" to exploit an "exploit" when talking about top players, i play madden for $ lots of $, and i know im amongst top tier talent, so lets be HONEST what is the real problem with RC?

To be honest, the RC talk is getting old. Most people dont like it, and we understand its an exploit, bad physics, yadda, yadda, yadda. The truth of the matter is this =

August 14th will be the true test if it has been fixed. Ian hasnt touched on the RC much, but i think mentioned nobody apart of the dev. staff could do it. So we will see.

..And this is coming from a person that HATES the RC..but at this point, its just a wait and see thing.

The reason that we all hate the RC is because it is unrealistic and almost physically impossible. It is absolutely not sim and it takes the fun out of the game if an opponent RCs down the field.

Show me and NFL game that the "Rocket Catch" animation is used more than once and I'll finally support the use of it. Fact is, that kind of catch RARELY happens and the only time I've seen it is only Hailmary Type of plays.

It is impossible for a player running at full stride, and then some, to stop on a dime, turn around on a dime, and then leap 3 feet into the air. But until EA/Tiburon throws in an appropriate weight/momentum system, RC will still be in Madden.
