I think it is a good thread. I for one am actually a little pissed off I pre-ordered this game months ago and now it seems like a good chunk of ppl have it while I have to wait until Friday. My only alternative would be to order online and hope it gets here before Friday since there are 0 mom and pop stores anywhere in Houston. I thought a release date was a release date? That and the nonsense of releasing the game on Friday instead of Tuesday is really annoying to me. Anyway, I guess I'll do the right thing and wait until Friday like a good space monkey.

Not only that but those people who got the game early will criticize you if you question the absurd street date EA put out for everyone else.

i have to admit, I am kind of surprised how many people here got it early as well.

breaking street dates used to be a serious thing.. i guess not anymore..

The ironic thing is that some people who got the game early will be the same people to lecture you on why there are street dates. If they believed in adhering to street dates, they would've not gone to that mom and pop store.

i guess it will be alright to go to the midnight release at game stop. never been to one, but i heard they hold turnys and stuff like that... but i heard they play them on the xbox 360. id get my *** handed to me on the 360 since i never touched it before ive only played ps3.
