So whats the point of IR if it doesnt create room on your roster to sign new players?

I hadnt realized that there was a bug. I guess thats why I keep seeing CPU teams cutting a player at one position to sign one at another.

Well I doubt this will be patched. But I am sure Ian and Phil will make the IR more effective for freeing up roster space in madden 11 You just have to deal with it for this year.
